Nikon is rumored to announce new lenses and the entry-level D3300 DSLR at the CES 2014 show. The two lenses expected to be announced are the Nikon AF-S Nikkor 35mm f/1.8G FX full frame lens and the new VR II version of 18–55mm f/3.5–5.6G DX lens.
The new AF-S DX Nikkor 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR II lens will be significantly smaller and lighter (less then 200g) when compared to the current Nikon 18-55mm kit. This lens probably be the new kit for the D3300 camera.
