Canon will announce a new EOS-1 body with large megapixel sensor. According to recent rumors new Canon EOS-1 DSLR camera to be announced in 2014, most possibly at Photokina show.
The new EOS-1 body will be the successor of the current Canon EOS-1D X. It will have a big megapixel but Canon will not use the current Dual Pixel CMOS AF technology in this body. New Canon EOS-1 body announcement expected with some lenses for this pro DSLR and also around the same time as the rumored Nikon D4x camera.
New Canon EOS-1 Body Rumored To Be Announced at Photokina 2014
Before the new EOS-1 announcement in 2014, the Canon EOS-1D X may recieve a price drop and give us some signals of the upcoming EOS-1 camera.
The new EOS-1 DSLR camera previously rumored to be coming in Q2 2014 and also be in testing at the World Cup in Brazil 2014. The upcoming EOS-1 body could be in testing at the Winter Olympics in Sochi. Name is not clear yet but it is also expected to be called Canon EOS-1D Xs, not as previously rumored EOS-3D.
It is almost confirmed that the 7D Mark II also coming in 2014. The release date of the EOS 7D Mark 2 still not clear yet.
