More reviews started to surface for the newly announced Panasonic GM1 micro four thirds camera. Dpreview posted their first impressions review with 34 sample photos taken with the camera. See below for the details.
Panasonic GM1 is a ultra small rangefinder style micro four thirds camera that shares the same 16-megapixel sensor as the GX7 and also offers silent shooting at shutter speeds as high as 1/16000 sec. Panasonic GM1 also features Wi-Fi, and 1080/60i video recording.
Panasonic GM1 First Impressions
From Dpreview’s first GM1 impression:
Panasonic clearly believes there’s a demand for an extremely small camera with a very large sensor and interchangeable lenses, and with the GM1 its engineers have pushed the definition of ‘pocketable enthusiast camera’ to new limits. The GM1 is cute, fast, and packs an impressive sensor inside its tiny frame. It’s quite a feat of engineering, and we can’t wait to start shooting with a production-quality sample.
