New Panasonic GM1 ultra compact micro four thirds camera to be announced on October 10. Panasonic GM1 will be the first mft camera with full electronic shutter.

The upcoming micro four thirds camera will be named as Panasonic GM1. According to 43R, the ultra compact G series GM1 camera will be announced next week on October 10. As previously rumored Panasonic GM1 expected to be ultra compact size close to Sony’s RX100 model.

Panasonic GM1 micro four thirds system camera will be available in black, silver/black, silver/brown color options.  The body is made of magnesium with a leather finnish The price and specs details are still not known. The price of the Sony RX100 currently priced for $748 at Amazon.

Panasonic is also rumored to announce a new 12-35mm pancake lens along with the upcoming ultra compact Panasonic GM1 MFT camera. The new Panasonic 12-32mm lens expected to be the kit lens of the new GM1.
