Panasonic has announced the Leica DG Nocticron 42.5mm f/1.2 lens for micro four thirds cameras. Panasonic today released a new “Leica” name for the 42,5mm f/1.2 called Nocticron with the Lumix DMC-GX7 compact system camera.
The new Leica DG Nocticron 42.5mm f/1.2 lens the fastest AF interchangeable lens for the LUMIX G Series cameras.
There is no price information for this lens. According to lens roadmap, the NOCTICRON 42.5mm F1.2 is schduled to be released in 2013 or later. Below are the full press release with the two product images.
