DxOMark has posted a review and test results for the newly announced Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX100M2 digital compact camera. The new Sony RX100M2 compact camera manages to have score a 20% better high ISO result.
The new Sony RX100M2 is the first ever Sony camera to feature NFC connectivity. Sony RX100MII compact camera has a 20.2 megapixel back-illuminated Exmor R 1.0-type CMOS sensor, Multi Interface Shoe and Multi Terminal accessory connections.
Sony RX100M2 also features 3-inch a tiltable LCD screen, Full HD 24p/25p movie for cinematic video footage, plus built-in wi-fi.

Until such time that rivals adopt the Sony unit, or something similar (like the sensors found in the Nikon 1 cameras), it’s unlikely that they’ll be able to compete on level terms. For the moment at least, the highly pocketable Sony Cyber-shot DSC RX100 and the new Mk II version have no real equal.
The new Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX100M2 digital compact camera price is $749.00. Sony DSC-RX100M2 will start shipping from July 15, 2013.
