Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX1R Full Frame Camera Announced Price, Specs
Sony today has officially announced the Sony DSC-RX1R full frame premium camera. The new Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX1R is a new 35mm full-frame compact camera without an optical low-pass filter.
The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX1R Digital Camera is a compact high-performance camera that features a large 24.3 megapixel full-frame CMOS sensor to produce high resolution still imagery and full HD 1080p video.
In terms of operation and functionality the RX1R is exactly the same as the RX1. The only difference being that it has no anti-aliasing (AA) filter. In theory, this means that you’ll get even better resolution than the original RX1, with the trade-off of increased moiré.
The new Cyber-shot RX1R has the same 24.3 effective megapixel sensor and Carl Zeiss Sonnar T* F2 lens.
